What is the worst nba record in nba history?

1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers (9-73)

The 76ers were one streaky team. They began the season with 15 straight losses, and also recorded losing streaks of 20, 14, and finally 13 to end the season. But Philly also proved it could win, taking a remarkable two in row and four of six in February. The Sixers finished 59 games behind the Celtics in the Eastern Division.

Fred Carter was named the 76ers MVP, leading to some mind-bending metaphysical introspection. "I didn't know if it was for leading the team to nine wins or for leading the team to 73 losses," said Carter years later. "I still haven't figured it out."

There was simply no way to sugarcoat the season. Even the Sixers' official Web site says, "The team set the standard by which bad NBA teams would be judged for years to come."

Greatest Duo in NBA History?nba ,nba teams

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen
Magic Johnson and Kareem Adbul Jabbar.
West and Baylor were a pretty good combo for the Lakers for a long time.
KOBE AND SHAQ
willis reed and walt"clyde"frazier or howa bout walt"clyde"frazier and earl"the pearl"monroe.(thats three guys in the top 50)
The most popular answer your going to get is Jordan and Pippen cause they dominataed unlike any other duo in history. In that neither of them were BIG men.

They're just the most unique combination out there. It never has been done that way and I don't see it happening any time soon either.
Bill Russell and John Havlicek
kobe and shaq
MJ and PIP how could you get to top 25 players ever in the same team
Bill Russell and Red Auerbach - 11 rings in 13 years.

Best scorer in NBA history?

Who is it? Don't need an explanation or anything, just say it.

Michael Jordan obviously.

Kareem got the sky hook. Jordan doesn't. Kareem FTW! Report It

Michael Jordan?

Is this a popularity question or a fact finding question?

Jordan for the former Kareem for the latter. Report It

kobe Report It

Wilt Chamberlain scored the most points, but had less competition. Jordan (IMO) was the best all-around player, but not the greatest "scorer" Report It

Kobe Bryant - when you take a look at his scoring - ie. 2nd highest in a single game (81 points) -and the fact that he has all-stars guarding him on most nights... he has to create his own scoring opportunities with no help. its undeniable Report It

gotta be kobe

the athletes now days are better than ever

it shows you dot to be the best athlete to beat the others Report It

WHAT'S THE POINT WHEN APPARENTLY THE ASKER AND ANSWERER ARE THE SAME.

POINT GAMING Report It

Kobe, people saying Wilt Chamberlain, i mean it doesnt take talent to be taller then half the guys out there and shoot it from less then 4 feet away? Thats just being born athletic... I wanna see Wilt make even 50 points shooting even just free throws... I aint taking anything away from wilt because i do think he is the best center in history but scorer? has to go to a guard which does it SHOOTING, not lay ups or hooks or ONLY dunks...
KOBE...AMEN!
Jordan
KAREEM
PISTOL PETE
His airness Michael Jordan.
MJ
Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Michael Jordan could score googobs of points on any human that ever played the game... fairly consistently. Wilt would get killed by Kareem.
Wilt or Kareem
Wilt Chamberlain!...50ppg for a year!...nuff said!
Micheal Jordan, beuase he was a guard that scored when Wilt played he was no doubt the biggest guy in the league which made it a whole lot easier to score, Jordan on the other hand had 2 other great scores on his team but he still led his team to 3 staight.
I'll go with MJ... he's more explosive compared to Wilt and Kareem... the only reason why wilt and kareem scored big time is because of their height (which are 7 feet or above i'm not sure)... but considering MJ's height at 6'6", the way he can score at will most of the time is one thing you could really give him big credit... he's the best scorer!!! yeah! the way he can score with finesse is also his advantage rather that just plain power
Kareem Abdul Jabbar - AKA: ALL TIME LEADING SCORER

Period!
Cousy or Magic
Magic
John Stockton
Stockton...

Magic is one of the greats of all time, but he isn't a true point guard.

Mr. Stockton is teh best ever at that position.
Bob Cousy.
Nash.
John Stockton, he actually leads a point guard stats in steals and assist and the only man that can catch him is Jason Kidd and he would have to play a next 5-10 years and have a high average in both steals and assist. J. Stockton is a true point guard
Magic
Parker.

In NBA history, is there any player who hasn't had any injury at all and had a great career?

Were there any NBA superstars who hasn't had one injury in their career? or haven't missed any games due to injury in their career?

In NBA history, is there any player who hasn't had any injury at all and had a great career?nba logo

Bill Russell's career was relatively injury free (at least to the point that injuries prevented him from playing). After joining the team in mid-season in 1956-57 (after winning an Olympic Gold Medal)he played:

1958 / 69 (of 72 team games)

1959 / 70 (of 75)

1960 / 74 (of 75)

1961 / 78 (of 79)

1962 / 76 (of 80)

1963 / 78 (of 80)

1964 / 78 (of 80)

1965 / 78 (of 80)

1966 / 78 (of 80)

1967 / 81 (of 81)

1968 / 78 (of 82)

1969 / 77 (of 82)

Russell (who was also player/coach) took four games off toward the end of the 1969 season in order to rest up and prepare for the playoffs.

During the last 12 years of his career, Russell played 915 out of 945 games, missing only 31 games in those 12 seasons, an average of 2.5 games/year.

When Russell did get injured, he did not allow the injuries to stop him from taking the court anyway.

Tim Duncan had a great start to his career, but played fewer than 70 games in both 2004 and 2005.

Wilt's only major injury was when he tore his knee up early in the 1969-70 season. He only played 12 games, but returned for the playoffs and led the Lakers to game 7 of the finals, losing to the Knicks. He also missed a few games here and there, many times the result of having teeth knocked out.

BTW - an above answer is close on Tayshaun Prince... after appearing in 42 games as a rookie, he played every game for the next three full seasons (2004, 2005 and 2006) and started all but two games during those three years. And, Prince has not missed a game this year, either.

A look at some random box scores from Prince's rookie season indicate that the games he missed were a result of a coach's decision, and not because of injury...Good job by Roadrunner to point out Prince!

In NBA history, is there any player who hasn't had any injury at all and had a great career?nba video ,nba teams

yeah,a rookie who only played a game and after that, got in jail 4 life for raping and murdering :D
I know Tayshaun Prince is not a superstar and wont be but do you believe he hasn't missed a game since he came into the NBA because of injury. I think im right there.
NO.
I believe AC Green played every single game without injury, but I wouldn't exactly call him a superstar. Karl Malone was also durable, but played so long that toward the end of his career, he wound up getting injured.

The bulls posted a 72 and 10 *41 and 3 in frist 44 games* record in Jordan's first year back out of retirement. This was not all due to Jordan because he had an amazing cast of teammates. There was Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kerr, Longley, Kukoc, and Ron Harper. Jordan could not have done it alone. Report It

phil jackson, i think he's a coach now
Phil Jackson...
Lefties are always more talented. First of course left handers think and live using more of the creaive mind (rightbrain). It can also be said that lefties live in a world geared toward right handedness, so we also have to learn to do everything well backwards. There are more of us than you think (am ambi in some things but am a natural leftie) BaseBall, tennis, raquetball was taught by righties, so it was learned not natural. Shooting pool - taught myself, leftie - and not a bad shooter. Look at the lists in basketball - lots of talent on that list!
Michael Redd, David Robinson, Manu Ginobili, Derek Fisher, toni Kukoc, Lamar Odom, Bill Russell, Chris Mullin
The San Antonio Spurs's Manu Ginobili (ARG)
david robinson, chris mullin, kenny anderson

that's all i can think of
To rod d:

Very good with a few corrections Joe "Jellybean" was right-handed as was (and what threw u off with) Bird, Dantley,Walton and LeBron is that their off hand is so strong. Those players play right-handed. What hand do they shoot 10, 15 or 20-foot jumpers with?
The legendary Bill Russell.
Chris Mullin, best pure shooter ever.
